What Are Commissions?

Commissioned artwork is custom artwork you ask an artist to create just for you, rather than purchasing an existing artwork.

Commissions Are Great If:

​

• You want to guarantee you can get a piece, rather than competing with other collectors to claim a piece quickly.

• You love a piece that was claimed by another collector. We can collaborate to create one inspired by that piece!

• There are specific colors you'd like to be the focus.

• You need a specific size art piece for your space.

Guiding Your Inquiry

​

• You can provide as little or as much direction as you like, however bear in mind that I only create work in my style of abstraction. You and I can further discuss the possibility of composing a preferred style or subject with my art style.

• Do you care about color? I recommend choosing 2-4 colors at most, though more colors can be requested upon further request.

• Please let me know your preferred size for your art piece. If you have yet to decide on the size we can work together to decide what works for your space.

• Are you inspired by one of my previous art pieces? Let me know and we can pull inspiration from it!

Pricing​

​

Commission prices are based on my current rates based on size, materials used, and time to complete. After a brief consultation via email or phone I can let you know what the investment would be.

If you have a specific budget in mind, I can let you know what size work and materials would be available in that price range.

Payment

​

Commissions are custom work and require a deposit to order. Upon discussion of pricing of the commission half of total cost is taken up front, and the other half can be paid any time after but must be completed before the art piece ships.

​

My normal timeline for commissions is 2-3 weeks, but if you'd like to break up payments over a longer period of time, you can book a commission to be completed weeks or months in the future.

​

Deposits and payments for commissions are not refundable due to the custom nature of the work.
